Mbooni permit to acquire advanced Anti Thargoid weapons

Heading out to LHS 1163, a ragtag group of commanders left for the quest to attain powerful weapons technology for the fight against the Thargoids threat. 

Azimuth Biotech is an independent corporation providing Mining and transportation services and has a classified Experimental Equipment arm. One of their systems, Mbooni where the modified Guardian Weapons are avaliable, is locked behind a permit that is only available to pilots allied with Azimuth.

Once the permit is obtained at 'Glorius Prospect', 'Modshards' can be purchased by meeting technology broker Eugene Bass at Prospect's Deep in the Mbooni System and providing the required materials and blueprints.

CMDR Horizonhawk was on a routine exploration trip in the Hip 9774 system, on planet A 3 A, just 20 km outside of the McDevitt Settlement when his scanners alerted him to a ground operation that was not registered on any maps he could access.

He decided to take a closer look and found an illegal mining operation supported by Hip 9774 Anarchists. This criminal organization has built an extensive mining site extracting mainly Rutile and Lepidolite but there seems to be traces of Moissanite, Coltan, Pyrophyllite and Goslarite present.The relevant authorities have been notified and the situation is being dealt with.

Mysterious Pictograms at Guardian Beacons

CMDR G-Dubya, a research scientist with interest in Guardian and Thargoid history has found some new pictograms depicting images of Thargoids and Guardian constructs and Thargoids themselves.

In a recent visit to a Guardian Beacon, he noticed some strange movement on different parts of the beacon's surface.

"At first glance it could be described as looking like flowing water with the width of a thin stream. But, on closer inspection of the 'stream' I realised that it was not flowing water but was clearly a scrolling pattern that had a start point and stop point and which repeated itself when it reached its conclusion. I came to call these repeating patterns the 'X-streams'."

To date he recorded six different unique patterns or rather 'pictograms' which are located at different areas across the whole of the guardian beacons surfaces.

Rishanha is reasonably famous for the Rishanhan deadly lobstoid but cursed by dreadful solar activity.

Extracts from the lobstoid have enabled advances in science and have yielded biochemical and medical research facilities in the system. No surprise there is advanced medicine, progenitor cells and performance enhancers readily available at most star ports.

Rishanha also sports a very sophisticated military industry and thus a big variety of space ships up to the mighty Anaconda are available, as well as lots of modules in sizes relevant for that formidable ship.

Laksmi. Support for Aetolians has been growing in Laksmi for a long time now and reached a tipping point. Aetolian Forces are challenging the Kohou Wu faction for control of Hume Survey, a surface port with large landing pads on Laskmi 6 A.

Laksmi is well know for good fortune and wealth but Hume Survey used to be well know for its hardpoint supply but has now mostly smaller sized fixed lasers and gimballed cannons. It is well known for its reactive armor but mismanagement under the leadership of Kohou Wu Faction have cause very low yields in recent production.

Not only did he find resource rich brain trees but also a fantastic view! All on Hip 36823 Planet 1 A.

Different "fruits" are attached to brain trees, which drop raw materials and differ as follows:

Cordycep Growth: Material "Very Common" - Grade 1 (Iron, etc.)

Polyporous Growth: Material "Common" - Grade 2 (Arsenic, etc.)
Mussidae Seed Pod: Material "Standard" - Grade 3 (Molybdenum, Cadmium, etc.)
Phloem Excretion: Material "Rare" - Grade 4 (Yttrium, Polonium, etc. or the most rare material on the planet/moon - Standard/Common)
Which materials they drop depends on what kind of materials the moon/planet owns.
